This site is where I put all my psychological overflow a couple of times per week — it’s aimed at like minds and the culturally curious. If you like sports footwear, jackets, movies, defunct magazines and hip-hop, plus all the other bits that join the dots around them, you might find something here that’s relevant to you.

  1. Thank you for this: “…If you’re still deluding yourself that a Supreme tee on your back and pristine boutique-bought Dunks make you part of an “in the know” secret society, you’re misguided. That look has blown the fuck up.”

    1. Thank you Jeff! Got that data from across the internet and from the LAB website…so I apologise if dates and details might be a little mixed. And salutes to you and the crew for your work over the years — a big inspiration to me and many more…

  2. Some interesting stuff on here – just read through the Bangers article – I seriously want some of those Nike Escape 1984 trainers! They look epic – keep up the good work :)

  3. Just having a little reminisce about old trainees, when I came across your website. I had a pair of blue adidas waterproof in the 80’s. Bought form the original Wade Smith shop off Bold Street in Liverpool. Just got back from one of the pre-season tours with Everton and went down with a few mates to sell him some trainees from Europe. Seen the waterproof and bought them straight away. Always keep an eye out for them in case they re-issue. Extremely comfortable, totally waterproof and they had a bellow tongue, plus they were blue for good measure. Started with Stan Smith, then onto Forest Hills, then Grand Slam. Can’t remember the price of the waterproof but must have been around the £50 mark.
