It’s lit, as in literature. This New York Times article about Supreme’s Paris opening mentions Supremacist, David Shapiro’s upcoming book that’s loosely based on his own quest to visit every one of the ten stores worldwide. I would assume that this would be the worst book ever, were it not for Shapiro’s earlier work on the subject of the brand and Brendan Babenziian’s Noah relaunch, which gives me hope that it might offer some insight. Unless he’s going more fictional with a fuccboi Holden Caulfield (and bear in mind that Holden loved that red hat like some kids love a red rectangle) as the narrator. Perhaps Supremacist – which goes on sale on the 5th of July —will instigate a spate of semi-memoirs based on the emotional peaks and troughs of a Thursday morning’s queuing.
