No real updates tonight because I’m working on plenty of projects at the same time and can’t think of anything to add here that isn’t discussed ad nauseam elsewhere. For the hardcore nerds, the video below might be of some vague interest — a news report regarding the 1995 legal dispute over whether New Balance could call themselves made in the USA, when some components were made overseas. As well as a mustachioed Jim Davis and a smug lawyer-type pitching the worst tagline in history there’s some footage of the Massachusetts facilities in the mix, complete with the making of the fairly rare M585 model that helped give us the Rollbar technology and inspired the MT580 that was big in Asia then got pushed to a western audience who, as is their way, made it kind of corny.
